Editing Services

Our self-publishing editing services begin with three simple options below. We can combine them if you contact us for a quote specific to your needs. Northeast Kingdom Press, a book editor in Vermont, is always happy to provide a custom quote or answer any questions that you may have before hiring us.

Turnaround Time & Rush Service

• Standard turnaround is 2–3 weeks
• Rush delivery may be available depending on our current schedule

Rush projects require prior approval and may include an additional Rush Service Fee

Important Notes for Current and Future Clients

• Pricing assumes a complete, reasonably clean manuscript.
• Manuscripts requiring extensive rewrites or restructuring may require a revised quote.
• One round of edits is included unless other terms are agreed upon before payment.

When it comes to publishing your first book, there are many things to consider. The first consideration is whether you want a book editor in Vermont to help you with the writing process, or not. This is an excellent reason to hire us using our writing and ghostwriting services.

We offer writing services for all types of authors, regardless of whether or not they hire us for self-publishing editing services, or where they are located in the United States. While we are located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, we do work virtually, which allows us to extend our decades of expertise beyond the Vermont border. This means that you can consider us for your book-writing needs as your ghostwriter, without living in Vermont.

Not all projects are rated per word. For example, a life memoir, or similar story, may be quoted at the premium ghostwriting level. This type of book takes more work. This chart is a general guide for hiring our team for most basic ghostwriting book projects.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all projects are rated per word. Projects that may have a lower word count but have similar work involved as a higher word count project, may be quoted in the higher tier.

Projects exceeding the maximum word count for the selected package will be billed at $60 per additional 1,000 words.
